CLOSED TEMPORARILY - In effort to help slow the spread of COVID-19, we are closing the store temporarily. We encourage you to stay safe and to take steps to slow the spread of the virus (wash hands, stay home, social distancing, etc). We will post information regarding re-opening of the store here and on our Facebook page when the situation changes.

Channel Fireball Code - If you are participating in CFB's MagicFest Online, please use our store code (which is simply: COMMON ROOM GAMES), and CFB will donate a percentage of registration fees to the store.

MTG Pioneer! - Circle the wagons and break out the decks! We are now hosting Pioneer play every Tuesday evening. Registration at 6pm; play at 6:30pm. Would you like to know more?

X-Wing - Test your mettle each Sunday at 1pm when we host casual Star Wars X-Wing play. Will you use the Force for good or evil, or perhaps you think hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster! Try not; do it!

Yu-Gi-Oh on Sundays - Join us for competitive Yu-Gi-Oh play every Sunday at 2:30pm. Prize support!

MTG Standard on Sunday - We host MTG Standard events on Sunday evenings. Activities begin at 6pm!!

Sign-up for Pathfinder Society - We utilize online sign-up for Pathfinder Society, which occurs on Monday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Guarantee your spot at one of the tables by signing up. Walk-ins will be seated as space allows. Details on our Store Events page.

Legend of the Five Rings - Every Monday beginning at 6:00pm, we will be hosting league play for the Legend of the Five Rings LCG. Do you choose your clan, or does the clan choose you?

Transformers TCG - Join us for casual Transformer TCG play every Tuesday beginning at 5:30pm. As the OP program for Transformers grows, we will be opting in.

D&D Expeditions - We are currently running D&D Expeditions organized play at the store every Tuesday and Wednesday evening of the month at 6pm (and the occasional Friday or Saturday table, too). Guarantee your spot at one of the tables by signing up via our website. Walk-ins will be seated as space allows. Details on our Store Events page.

Marvel Champions LCG - Join us for casual Marvel: Champions LCG play on Wednesdays at 6:00pm. Tournament play will be scheduled as OP kits become available. Would you like to know more?

Star Wars Destiny - We are now hosting weekly Star Wars Destiny play at 6pm. Every Wednesday. We will run FFG OP kits for Star Wars Destiny as they become available.

MTG Modern Wednesdays! - We are now sanctioning a MTG Modern tournament beginning at 6:30pm every Wednesday. Bring your deck and come on down! Five dollar buy-in. Prizes!!

MTG Commander on Thursdays - Are you looking for an opportunity for some casual Commander/E.D.H.? Then look no further! We are encouranging any and all to join us on Thursday evenings for casual play. Would you like to know more?

Friday Night Magic - On Friday, March 13th, we will be hosting a Booster Draft (3 packs of Mystery Booster booster, or 3 packs of Theros Beyond Death). Registration begins at 6:00pm; play begins promptly at 6:30pm.

Board Game Day - Every Saturday, we host casual, pick-up board gaming. Many Saturdays we also host demoes of specific games. We encourage all board game enthusiasts to join our games library (a cool $25 annual fee grants you access to our ever-growing collection of the finest board games.

MTG Paper Pauper - We are now hosting casual MTG Paper Pauper play every Saturday at 2:30pm. For more information, including the banned list, see complete details here.

MTG Store Cube - We have built a pauper cube for drafting in the store, it's complete, and ready to use. Built using the Styborski card list, the cube will be available for $2 per person. We also have an "un"-cube, which includes cards from Unstable, Unhinged, and Unglued.

The Common Room, located at 223 S. Pete Ellis Drive in Bloomington (at the north end of Williamsburg Village)), strives to be the gamers' game store. We stock the best in collectible card games, roleplaying games, miniature-based games, board games, and gaming supplies.
